Selling prices start at 40% of the base price of the item. The DC to increase the sale value is 10 + 5 for every 5% of an increase from the base price. (ex. To sell an item in a Large Town for 60% would require a DC 30 (10 to meet the 40% sale value + 20 (5 for each extra 5%)). The roll is a Diplomacy check. You could use an Intimidate check but that vendor wouldn’t deal with the character again. The Purchase Limit is the highest value that any store could pay, for any one item. There is a 75% chance that any community will have an item, up to the Base Value, for sale.
